Z'ev

Z'ev (b. Los Angeles, 1951) is a U.S. percussionist. Beginning in the mid-1970s, he developed a personal technique utilizing found and homemade instruments made from industrial materials such as titanium, stainless steel, and PVC plastic, producing music that was often cacophonous.

His work has been influenced by Jewish mysticism as well as African and Afro-Caribbean drumming.
